See Tour DatesCee Lo Reuniting With His Former Band Goodie Mob
Gnarls Barkley crooner Cee Lo Green has announced he will in fact be reuniting with his old crew the Goodie Mob for a tour and new album in the near future. The singer, who recently released the single “F*ck You” from his upcoming solo album The Lady Killer - which, by the way, has become a massive hit on Youtube - has noted that after he releases the album next month the band will reunite.
Gigwise recently interviewed the singer on his work. He noted on the former band’s relationships with each other:
It’s definitely changed, but for the better. We’ve grown. They were always my big brothers so, now, we can look each other in the eye.” When asked about if the new album is on, he noted, “Definitely. The reunion is set in stone. I’m almost done with [The Lady Killer], turning it in formally, and we will resume shortly thereafter finishing the Goodie Mob album. He also mentions that he will “definitely” be reuniting with producer Danger Mouse at some point to begin working on the next Gnarls Barkley album. You can check out a video of Cee Lo playing an uncensored version of his new hit on Jools Holland. Note the all-female band that he’s lined up for his upcoming tour in support of his solo effort.
